We're here to give you tips on how to look for a sports bra that will give you low support to high support and how to choose them for each workout session, keep reading to find out more
What can I say, finding the right sports bra is like finding... the perfect date, the perfect brunch spot, the perfect vacay, the perfect cat eye. Once you know, you know....
When it comes to sports bras there is a plethora to choose from, are you looking for low support, mid support, high support, clasp back, racer back, seamless, padded, non padded, strappy backs, U-backs, sexy backs and the list goes on.....
There may be lots of options but how do you know which one is right for you?
Here are a couple of my tips when it comes to shopping for the right bra
Sports bra for low to high support
First of all, lets decide what do you need it for?
Obviously if your looking to wear it for Cross fit or any HIIT workout, you're going to look for something with high support. In my experience it helps to have the option for removeable pads as this adds to the support when you're doing all that jumping around. If you're going to a Yin Yoga class and you want lots of movement and flexibility, you'll most likely want something with lots of stretch and not so much padding. Looking to stand out in your classes or you just wanna feel sexy, how about bras with strappy or assymmetrical backs?
Finding quality fabric
Now that you've figured out where you want to wear your sports bra, you now want to look at the fabric. Always make sure you're looking for pieces made from breathable material, if you dont; girl you're going to be sweating like a polar bear in the dessert. Recycled fabrics are a great option to look for, you can choose from Q-Nova®️ which is made from recycled fibres, or Repreve®️which is made from recycled plastic bottles

Searching or the right fit
Fit, Fit, Fit
Having a sports bra fit in the right places is key to a good workout. If you feel short of breath, body parts pinching or your movement is restricted - it's going to affect your performance. Your sports bra shouldnt be so tight but should feel supportive. If you cant take it off without dislocating your shoulder, its too tight....
And always, have some fun with it
And last but not least, have some fun with it. Add some vibrant colors, textures, prints and patterns to your sports bra repertoire. Who wants to be blah when you can be fabulous! There are so many textures you can choose from, beautiful prints and patterns, and colors, give me more colors!!!!!!
